Abstract:
A guide to getting an ID and computing accounts at FNAL. The process of getting an ID starts with the process of getting a computing account which is why the two topics are related. Please note that now we have been service-now'd, the first computing account you get is only a service-now account. This is sufficient to start the process of getting an ID which is then carried on `offline'. If you want to do computing on the darkside machines either the analysis or the daq machine, you will then need to get an account on those machines . This is described in the document. If you are not using SLF, please note the page on Kerberos is out-of-date - it is there as a place holder in docdb v6.
